The FIRS / ICPC Joint Task Force brand identity brings together Nigeria’s premier tax authority and anti-corruption commission under a unified design system. By articulating shared values of integrity, transparency, and collaboration, the visual identity reinforces the Task Force’s mission to uncover financial crime and ensure fair revenue collection. The outcome is a cohesive brand toolkit, logo, colour palette, typography, imagery guidelines, and messaging, that positions the partnership as a powerful, trust-inspiring deterrent against corruption and tax evasion.

Prior to collaboration, FIRS and ICPC operated under distinct visual systems, which diluted public awareness of their joint anti-fraud efforts.

Develop a brand that clearly communicates the integrated mandate of tax compliance and anti-corruption.

The identity must project authority and transparency, enhance stakeholder confidence, and galvanize public support for reporting financial crime, all while remaining flexible across print, digital, and environmental applications

Strategic Design System & Messaging Framework

Logo & Iconography: Refined the interlocking “lens” icon to symbolize investigative depth and collaboration.
Color Palette: Off Red for urgency, Eerie Black for authority, Pure White for transparency.
Typography: Renner* for modern clarity and institutional gravitas.
Imagery: Documentary-style and symbolic visuals emphasizing integrity and national progress.
Messaging: Campaign taglines (“Corruption Dies Here,” “Every Naira Counts”) to drive action.
Each element was crafted to reinforce a cohesive narrative of accountability and empower both agencies to speak with one clear voice

The Typeface fit for Boldness, Rigidity, Security and Transparency

Renner* is a font for the digital age. It's based off of the work of Paul Renner, the designer of Futura and looks similar to Jost.

The choice of Renner* as the brand typeface reflects a deliberate commitment to clarity, structure, and modern professionalism. Inspired by the geometric foundations of early modernist typography, Renner* brings a sense of precision and order that aligns seamlessly with the core values of the Joint Task Force, transparency, integrity, and accountability.
